Paid Mentorship Opportunities: 2025–2026 AIM-AHEAD Training Programs Call for Mentors

The AIM-AHEAD Training Programs are seeking mentors for the 2025 - 2026 Cohorts. Selected mentors will receive a stipend of $4,000 for supporting two trainees, or $2,000 for one trainee, within a single training program during the 8-month program period (November 2025 - July 2026).

Mentors will meet twice monthly with assigned trainees, providing career guidance, professional development support, field expertise, and advice. Eligible mentors should hold a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree (e.g., PharmD, DNP, DrPH) and be affiliated with an organization, such as an educational institution, private sector organization, or community organization. Mentors must reside in the United States or U.S. territories throughout the program.

Successful applicants will be matched with trainees based on their skills and experience. The mentor application opens October 17, 2025, and closes November 14, 2025. Selected mentors will be notified by December 12, 2025, and mentoring will begin in January 2026.

Additional Notes:

  • Mentors may provide mentorship for only one AIM-AHEAD program during this period.
  • AIM-AHEAD-funded Coordinating Center personnel or awardees (MPIs, PIs, Co-Investigators, trainees, and other personnel) are eligible to apply, but will NOT receive the stipend if accepted.
  • Previous AIM-AHEAD mentors may reapply; feedback from past mentees will be considered during selection.
