Participants from various AIM-AHEAD programs gathered on Tuesday, July 8, during the 2025 AIM-AHEAD Annual Meeting for dedicated breakout sessions.
The first session of the AIM-AHEAD Awardee Presentations took place on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at this year's AIM-AHEAD Annual Meeting in Dallas, TX. Four AIM-AHEAD Awardees, each nominated by their program directors, were selected to present during this session.
On Tuesday, July 8, the first Panel Discussion of the 2025 AIM-AHEAD Annual Meeting took place, entitled “Empowering Progress: Data Requests Driving AIM-AHEAD Programs”, moderated by AIM-AHEAD MPI, Dr. Paul Avillach.
A highlight of the 2025 AIM-AHEAD Annual Meeting was the keynote speech, “The Brain is Now Open Source: What it Means for Medicine and Healthcare,” delivered by Dr. Jiajie Zhang, Dean and Professor at the D. Bradley McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics at UTHealth Houston.
AIM-AHEAD Contact PI, Dr. Jamboor “JK” Vishwanatha, and Dr. Kirk Calhoun, Interim President of the University of North Texas Health Science Center, provided the Conference Introduction and Welcome from the Prime Awardee Institution on the opening day of the 2025 AIM-AHEAD Annual Meeting.
The 2025 AIM-AHEAD Annual Meeting featured a pre-conference networking session on Monday evening, July 7, held in the Crystal Ballroom Foyer of the Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel in Dallas, TX.
