"Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) has been a leader in advancing the cause of health equity for historically marginalized populations since our inception. Our mission is to lead the creation and advancement of health equity and justice. Our vision is to achieve translational and transformative impact by leveraging transformative technologies, including artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), to eliminate health disparities among the underrepresented populations we serve. We will achieve this by investing in the development of AI/ML capacity among the next generation of (diverse) biomedical researchers and leveraging long-standing community-academic partnerships to reshape the evolution of AI/ML to be more reflective of the needs and priorities of communities of color." -- MSM 2023
